you gotta tell us what camera you used, man. these shots are awesome.

and a stupid question. did you set the resolution to 6 megapixel or something, cos the detail is so crisp (refer to the toledo skyline pic) for a pic this size on the net.

Kudo, I use the sony cybershot dsc707 and the camera has a resolution of 5megapixels. For the Toledo skyline i used a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels.

Then photoshop comes to the rescue with the all-space-saving save-as-web function! :)

interesting. 1280x960 is basically a 1 megapixel shot. i have a crappy laptop with no adobe photoshop (shock horror). so i hve a problem when i reduce my shots down to a 0.3 megapix equiv (640x480) to fit on the site.

i have a finepix 420 (effectively 3.1 mp but with its 4th gen superccd thingie, it can make it 6 mp!).

i'm new at this game (remember my trusty 1979 contax SLR?). check out some shots i did (it won't match your shots of spain!!!) on http://krik.fotopages.com . the london, newcastle, manchester and sheffield ones were all digital.
