Rude

I think Malaysians are inherently rude with their handphones. I was at a company (H&R Spezialfedern) launch at Sheraton Imperial KL with a friend and this guy had a call that came through.
The ringtone was bad enough; it was an MP3 of probably a very popular chinese tune.
He decided to 'mask' his voice by putting the book over his face not realising that it actually made his conversation louder!
Of course he didn't realise that by putting the book over his face he also gave me an opportunistic photo shoot! :) heh heh

I hate people who PLAY with their goddamned monotonic or even worse, polyphonic ringtones in the movies. Lke there is no other place.
These poor insignificant souls have no better way to get the attention they crave for.
Either that or they can't read, 'do not use cellphone' signs.
I pity those brainless homosapiens. They will probably get beaten up to death if they are in the wrong place :~(
*grin*

taking his picture without his knowledge / permission is NOT rude ?

li, i don't think it's rude/unethical for sharizal to take a pic on such morons. in fact, people like this should have their pictures posted during those cinema commercials where they have their pictures put together with a slogan like " do not be like this moron " or " don't forget to switch your phones off - this moron didn't "

Sharizal,
I know how you must have felt. In one seminar where I was appointed as a facilitator, I saw a man pulled out his handphone and talked while the Minister was delivering his opening address! How rude it was!
When I chaired a session, I told everybody(including myself) to switch off their handphones. If any phones rings, I will ask him/her to leave.
Some of us Malaysians have zero manners at all:-(
I am ashamed!

noor hidayat: i can't stop laughing myself at that idea... maybe i'll bring my camera into the movies the next time!

HAhahaha!!! Way to go, man!!! The way I see it, anybody who talks on the handphone in discriminately is fair game. If I had my way, these buggers will be locked up in a small room listening to one annoying ringtone all day until he's rehabilitated.

I hate music ringtones. I stick to a basic ringtone (nokia: croak) and leave it at level 1-2. I dislike unwanted attention. (yeah, talk abt being shy) Anyway, didn't tt guy study in physics tt particles travel effectively via solid? In other words, tt bk amplified his voice *rolls eyes* Ahaha... this sure has made my day =Þ
